On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the 71st founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed to plant 10 million trees across the country as part of a multi-faceted program.

Sherpur Chhatra League is planting trees on the Mujib Year

In order to implement that directive, the president of Bangladesh Chhatra League Al Nahyan Khan Joy and the revolutionary general secretary writer Bhattacharya announced a three-month call for Mujib's year, planting three trees each.

As part of this program, Mujibur Rahman, nephew of Mr. Humayun Kabir Ruman, Central BCL leader of Sherpur and deserving chairman of the district council, implemented the tree planting program in collaboration with the leaders of Sherpur District BCL and College BCL.

At this time, BCL leader Mujib told Tech Solidarity, "We are committed to implementing any directive of the people's leader Sheikh Hasina Apa and Bangladesh BCL and our guardian Joy Bhai and writer Da." This effort of the central leadership of Deshratna Sheikh Hasina Apa and Chhatra League will be successful in realizing the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu's dream and this activity will be implemented in different wards and unions of Sherpur in phases.
